IV Islamic Solidarity Games Weightlifting competitions will be held in Weightlifting Academy, in Shuvelan, on May 13-17. The President of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Tomas Ajan visited to Baku to observe the progress of the tournament. The official representative was satisfied with the level of organization of competitions. Mr.Ajan took special steps to express it again. The President of the IWF and the Board of Directors of the organization-Muhammed Jalood, presented a special certificate of thanks of their organization to the Vice-President of Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation-Tofig Heydarov and General Secretary-Rizvan Rasulov. Tamash Ajan made a short speech and said he was very pleased to be a guest in the Islamic Games: “The organization in Baku is at a very high level. I was pleased with what I saw. As always, Azerbaijan is one of the first in this business. I once again witnessed the special value given to weightlifting during organization. I express my gratitude to AZE WF administration , its Vice-president and General Secretary , presenting this award. Once again, thank you for organizing such a high level of competition“.
