Islamic Games Weightlifting competitions to be held in Baku, on May 12-22, continues. Today, women in 63 kg weight category got on the platform. Firuza Ibrahimova and Elnara Abbasova joined medal struggle in this weight category. In snatch, Elnara lifted 82 kg and in clean and jerk, she lifted 102 kg. She was bronze medalist with total 184 kg (82+102) result.
Women athlete shared her impressions and feelings with AAAF Tv:
“I did not expect such result and I am very happy. I would like to thank my coaches and bow in front of them. I could not hold my tears in the competition hall. It was my tears of joy”.
