The second competition day of Azerbaijan Weightlifting Championship among males and females proceeds in the competition hall of Shuvelan Weightlifting Academy. First, the names of winners in the men’s 73 kg weight category have been known. Pasha Ibrahimli ranked first with 293kg (133+160) result excelling all his opponents.
After the competition, Pasha Ibrahimli shared his thoughts with AAAF TV:
“I prepared very well for the competition. I am grateful to my coaches for their support during the preparations. The European Championship is waiting for us. My goal is to complete that championship with a reward. It does not matter gold, silver or bronze, the main thing is the magnificent performance in the competition.”
