On November 14-17, an international tournament devoted to the memory of three-times Olympic champion Naim Suleymanoglu is about to end in Gaziantep, Turkey. In this event, which has license character to Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, approximately 80 athletes from more than 20 states take part in. The members of Azerbaijan national team are also amidst them. Under the guidance of head coach Asif Mammadov, Sabina Azimova (55kg), Boyanka Kostova (59kg), Fugan Aliyev (81kg) and Tarmenkhan Babayev (96kg) boarded the platform.
Tarmenkhan Babayev was last to board the platform. He competed in the men’s 96kg bodyweight category. Young athlete pinched the seventh with 313kg (143+170).
