On December 7-14, European Weightlifting Youth Championship U-15-17 is proceeding in Eilat, Israel. Approximately 498 athletes (228 girls and 270 boys) from 37 states participate in the competitions. The members of national team are also amid them.
Two athletes of national team-Samir Askerzadeh and Hasanaga Sahibov played in 73kg weight category of U-17.
Samir Askerzadeh was 7th with 264kg (122+142), however Hasanaga Sahibov took the 8th with 265kg (118+147) result in final.
