From the 19th to 24th of December, the 6th Qatar International Weightlifting Cup launched in Doha, the capital of Qatar. The tournament, which has license character to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, is attended by members of the Azerbaijan team led by Asif Mammadov.
Today, one of them, Boyanka Kostova boarded the platform and competed in 59kg bodyweight category.
The athlete was the champion of tournament with a total of 221kg (101+120) result.
