The 2nd International Weightlifting Fajr Cup continues in Ahvaz, Iran. The members of Azerbaijan Weightlifting Team also take part in this competition. Today Senan Mirzaev competed in 85 kg weight category and could get on the honorary chair.
Senan took the 3rd place with 141 kg result in snatch and in clean and jerk, he took the 4th place with 167 kg result.
Mirzaev won bronze medal with total 308 kg (141+167) result in final rankings.
So, on the first two competition days of Fajr Cup, our weightlifters won 3 (all three bronze) medals. In addition, it should also be noted that, they are awarded with more 4 small (1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze in snatch, 1 bronze in clean and jerk) medals in separate movements.
