“Azerbaijan Weightlifting Cup is held in a tense struggle in the Shuvalan settlement and there is great enthusiasm among athletes. I congratulate our athletes won in this competition”.
Asif Mammadov, head coach of weightlifting team, unfolded it in his interview to AAAF TV. He noted that National Cup, one of the last competitions of the year, is of great importance from the point of view of attracting new members to the national team: “The main goal of the national cup is to identify new, promising athletes. From this perspective we can say that next year national team will be drawn new members. ”
The head coach gave an info on the two major tournaments to be held in Egypt and Qatar in the coming month and added a list of our weightlifters to participate in the competition.
