On March 7, the Congress of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) has been held in the conference hall of “Westgate” hotel in Las-Vegas, USA. At the event attended by nearly 150 representatives from 62 states, various issues were discussed, reports were heard and lots of decisions were made. As well as, innovations, views and discussions were held in technical, medical, coaching, educational and other spheres.
Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation was represented by General Secretary Rizvan Rasulov and press service chief Kanan Mastaliyev.
