On December 2-3, Azerbaijan Weightlifting Cup started in the competition hall of Weightlifting Academy, in Shuvelan. Women were the first to get on the platform. Absolute winners were determined on the Sinclair schedule.
Sabina Azimova was gold medalist with a total of 169 kg (75+94) result and 248.83 points. The second was Ibrahimova Firuze with 180 kg (80+100) result and 237.75 points, and with a total of 156 kg (70+86) result and 224.84 points, Alizade Gulchin was third.
