Islamic Games Weightlifting competitions to be held in Baku, on May 12-22, started. 130 athletes from 21 countries will get on the platform. There are 51 women, 79 men among them. Azerbaijan National Team will compete with full staff- 16 persons (8 women and 8 men).
Women over 90 kg got on the platform. In that group, we hadnot representative.
In this weight category, Egyptian Shaima Haridi was gold medalist with total 275 kg (120+155) result. Silver medalist was Indonesian Nurul Akmal with total 230 kg (99+131) and Tunisia athlete-Marva Jelassi was bronze medalist with total 221 kg (95+126) result.
