Baku 2017: Elnara Abbasova is a bronze medalist!

Islamic Games Weightlifting competitions to be held in Baku, on May 12-22, started. 130 athletes from 21 countries will get on the platform. There are 51 women, 79 men among them. Azerbaijan National Team will compete with a full staff – 16 persons ( 8 women and 8 men).
Today, women in 63 kg weight category got on the platform. In this weight category, Firuza Ibrahimova and Elnara Abbasova competed. In snatch, Firuza lifted 80 kg and in clean and jerk, she could lift 100 kg. She took the 5th place with total 180 kg (80+100) result.
In snatch, Elnara lifted 82 kg and in clean and jerk, she lifted 102 kg. She was bronze medalist with total 184 kg (82+102) result.
