On July 22-29, European Weightlifting Championship, among young boys and girls U15-17, continues in Milan, Italy. In the tournament, which are attended by 388 athletes from about 40 countries (169 girls and 219 boys), the members of Azerbaijan National team get on the platform.
Today, two more of them –Ismayil Bakhishov and Alimerdan Alkhasov got on the platform.They tested their powers among U-17 boys, in 77kg weight category.
Ismayil Bakhishov took the 12th place with 110kg result in snatch, 9th place with 145kg result in clean and jerk, and in the final rankings he was 12th with a total of 255kg (110+145) result.
Alimerdan Alkhasov took the 10th place with 114kg result in snatch, 7th place with 151kg result in clean and jerk, and 7th with a total of 265kg (114+151) result in the final rankings.
