Azerbaijan Weightlifting Cup started in the competition hall of Weightlifting Academy, in Shuvelan. Women were the first to get on the platform. Sabina Azimova became the strongest in the competition and won the gold medal.
Winner shared her impressions of the competition with AAAF TV:
“I was prepared for the competition very well. I would like to thank my coaches and those who contributed to my victory. Generally, 2017 was very successful for me. Having a gold medal in the European Youth Championship in Kosovo, I won three times European Champion title and now I took the first place in the Azerbaijan Cup”.
