On January 14, the presentation of the traditional “Zirve Awards” of “Zirve” International Sport Clubs-an international brand of AAAF Holding, took place in the “Sharg” hall of “JW Marriott Absheron” hotel. At the event organized with the participation of approximately 150 guests, including well-known figures of Azerbaijan sports, athletes, coaches and other officials, the successes of local and international clubs of “Zirve” in various sports competitions have been appraised. At the ceremony, the winners have been awarded in the nominations of “team of the year”, “club of the year”, “coach of the year”, “competition of the year”, “coach of the year”, “for the services provided in the development of sports”, “for the services provided in the promotion of Zirve ISC”, “athlete of the year”, “Olympic hopes”.
AAAF Holding, which has a specific place in the construction sector of Azerbaijan, has pinched great success in the construction of sports facilities along with others. The international sports brand of the company is “Zirve” International Sport Clubs. This project, the synergy of the clubs operating in the 11 countries, along with Azerbaijan, is making a great contribution not only to our country, but also to all world weightlifting. They try to create the best conditions for local athletes from Azerbaijan, Russia, Georgia, Iran, Turkey, Moldova, Israel, Ukraine, USA, Belarus, Poland and Bulgaria, as well as to win sports victories incorporated under the word “Zirve” of Azerbaijan-united sports flag.
The objective of the presentation of traditional “Zirve Awards” of “Zirve” International Sport Clubs is to evaluating and distinguishing the achievements of these clubs throughout the year. The ceremony, organized at the JW Marriott Absheron Hotel, has been selected by its grandeur. A nice hall and scene design, guests’ welcome, presentation of special gifts, stupendous performances of the singers Natavan Habibi and Adalat Shukurov with delightful music were the highlights of the ceremony. The event was attended by the vice-president of National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzadeh, general secretary of NOC Agajan Abiyev, vice-president of the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation Azer Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Ismayil Ismayilov, Olympic champions, world and European champions and winners and other distinguished guests, as well as the management board of “Zirve” ISC, the athletes and coaches, and the people who have contributed to the achivements.
The event, started with the greetings of the guests, followed by a video on the history and successes of the “Zirve” International Sport Clubs. Then the president of “Zirve” International Sport Clubs Tofig Heydarov, Chingiz Huseynzadeh and Ismail Ismayilov took a floor. They emphasized the development of sport in our country day by day, conditions formed by the state, new achievements as a result of attention and care, and wished great successes to the representatives and nominees of “Zirve” and other clubs. Then the award ceremony was launched. Triumphants in various nominations have been presented with a special “Zirve Award”.
“Zirve” ISC annually presents apartment certificates to the athletes and their coaches who have results in the competitions. In the last 10 years, more than 200 members of the club have been granted apartments. In 2018, the same step was taken with regard to the athletes and their coaches, who differ in the international competitions. At the ceremony, relevant documents were presented to them. It was stated that this tradition will continue in 2019 as well. Finally, the cake of the “Zirve” ISC prepared specifically was cut with the Olympic champions and hopes.
